AIRPORT INFORMATION

If you're flying, you can either fly into Seattle or Portland. Seattle is a closer drive to the venue, but depending on your trip preferences and what you'd like to see, either city would be fun to spend a couple extra days in! Need more help deciding which airport? PDX is easier to navigate since it’s a smaller airport but be mindful of your timing as rush hour traffic can make crossing the bridge out of Portland into Washington a bit tough. We recommend renting a car at the airport to get to the venue and to explore Mount Rainier National Park.

WHERE TO STAY

Ashford, Washington is a small town just outside of the entrance to Mount Rainier National Park. There are a handful of hotels but rental homes & cabins will likely be your best bet. There are a ton that are within a 5 minute drive of the venue.   The cabins on the venue grounds have been reserved for immediate family. Lucky for us, there are tons of other places to stay in the area. The town of Ashford is only about 2 miles wide, so no matter where you stay, you should be close by!

When should I RSVP?

We kindly request that you RSVP by the deadline on June 17th, 2024. However, we love an early RSVP as well! While we would love to celebrate this day with each and every one of you, we recognize that a destination wedding is a huge commitment and everyone's circumstances are unique. If you are unable to attend, we completely understand, and kindly ask that you inform us as soon as possible. Either way, we are so grateful that you are a part of our lives, and we hope to see you soon.

WHERE IS THE VENUE LOCATED?

The Copper Creek Inn is located three miles west of the Nisqually entrance to Mount Rainier National Park in Ashford, WA. The inn has multiple cabins, a restaurant, and our event space where we'll hold all of the weekend's events.&nbsp;&nbsp; Directions: On google maps, use the address below or <a href="https://goo.gl/maps/HDHj2L24vkR45kSa9" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">this link</a> to go directly to event parking on the property in Ashford. Turn off the highway 500 feet west (further away from the park entrance) of the Copper Creek Restaurant to get to the venue.&nbsp;Follow signs on the property for parking.&nbsp; 35609 WA-706 E, Ashford, WA 98304

What should I wear?

The dress code for our wedding is cocktail attire. Think cocktail dresses or a suit and tie or a sports coat. Preferably no blue jeans, please. If you should choose to wear high heels, we recommend a block heel to most easily move about the property throughout the evening.

Can I smoke at the venue?

Because we'll be celebrating during the peak of fire season in the middle of the forest, there is absolutely no smoking allowed on the Copper Creek property. We appreciate your understanding. (Vapes ok.)

WILL THE WEDDING TAKE PLACE INDOORS OR OUTDOORS?

Both the ceremony and reception will be held outside.

WHAT WILL THE WEATHER BE LIKE?

Historically, mid-August in Ashford shows highs in the high 70’s and lows in the high 50s – though In the past couple of years, the highs have been in the 80's. We chose August because it's one of the least rainy months in Ashford. It may get a little chilly at night so be sure to bring a jacket.

Can I call an Uber after the wedding?

Unfortunately, there is no Uber/Lyft service in Ashford. We're working on organizing some shuttles to help guests at the end of the evening.

 HOW WILL I KNOW IF I'M STAYING AT COPPER CREEK OR IF I NEED TO FIND ALTERNATIVE LODGING?

There is limited space at Copper Creek Cabins and this location will be prioritized for the immediate family of Annie &amp; Cole. We may include a few additional folks on the property - but this will be based on which beds still need to be filled (single, double, bunk etc) &amp; how many days guests are joining us. We will reach out to people individually if you match what is available on the site!&nbsp;

Visit Mt Rainier

The best thing to do while you're here is explore Mt Rainier National Park! There are tons of hikes, sites, lakes, and more. The southwest entrance to the park is just a couple minutes down the road from our venue! Check out <a href="https://www.earthtrekkers.com/best-things-to-do-in-mount-rainier-national-park/" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">this blog</a> for some highlights in the park.

Plan ahead

Beginning in summer of 2024, Mt Rainier National Park will be piloting a timed reservation system to enter the park. You can read all about it <a href="https://www.nps.gov/mora/planyourvisit/timed-entry-reservations.htm" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">HERE</a> or you can skip ahead and reserve your time slot through the Paradise Corridor <a href="https://www.recreation.gov/timed-entry/10101917/ticket/10101919" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">HERE</a>. Reservations for August are available now and in the event that they sell out, the park plans to release a limited number of additional slots each evening for the following day. However, we recommend reserving as soon as possible to ensure you don't miss out on seeing this beautiful park.

This experience allows guests to soak in a gigantic kettle over an actual open fire kindled with wood!

Yes, the venue itself has a restaurant on site! Copper Creek Restaurant first opened in 1946 and is the oldest continuously operating restaurant in Washington State. They're famous for their blackberry pie! Open from 8 am to 8 pm.

Serving traditional American Mountain Menu along with some Authentic Sherpa-Himalayan Cuisine of Nepal. Open noon to 8 pm.

Wildberry Restaurant

Rainier BaseCamp Bar &amp; Grill offers a relaxed, park-like setting. Their diverse menu has something for everyone, including vegetarian and gluten-free options. Open noon to 8:30 pm.

Rainier BaseCamp Bar & Grill

The bar menu features 10 taps, along with hard kombucha &amp; cider. Indoor and outdoor seating available. Open noon to midnight.﻿Breakfast served on weekends at 8 AM.

The Trailhead Bar and Grill

Annie and Cole's love story began in high school, blossoming into a decade-long journey. After enduring the challenges of long-distance through college, they were finally reunited when Cole joined Annie down in Los Angeles. Now, they call Hermosa Beach home, sharing their lives with two feline companions, Olive and Margot. In a magical moment overlooking the city that never sleeps, Cole proposed on top of the Empire State Building in 2022, a pivotal chapter that paved the way for their upcoming 10th anniversary celebration in 2024. Join them as they continue their journey, celebrating love, commitment, and a decade of shared memories.
